OWWA appeals for OFWs' understanding on quarantine rules

OWWA appealed for OFWs' understanding regarding quarantine rules on Thursday.

The agency stressed that OFWs must complete a 14-day mandatory quarantine and provide two negative RT-PCR test results before they can return home.

As of Wednesday, OWWA aims to finish swab testing around 7,000 OFWs this week to decongest quarantine facilities.

On Tuesday, the Philippine Coast Guard reported that 2,000 OFWs were tested at a facility in Batangas.
