IATF allows 200 Filipinos from Milan to observe home quarantine

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has allowed approximately 200 returning Filipinos from Milan, Italy to observe home quarantine upon their return to the Philippines.

These individuals must undergo RT-PCR testing for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) once they arrive in the country; those who test negative will be exempted from facility-based quarantine but still required to complete a 14-day home-quarantine period.

Italy is one of the countries hardest-hit by the pandemic with over 200,000 confirmed cases and nearly 28,000 deaths.
