Over 6K families evacuate due to Agaton-induced floods

Over 6,000 families have evacuated due to flooding and threats of landslides in Davao Region and Northern Mindanao caused by Tropical Depression Agaton.

As of Sunday, April 10, a total of 3,347 individuals had been displaced in Cagayan de Oro City and Bukidnon province.

PAGASA issued a heavy rainfall warning on Saturday, April 9, for 20 provinces across the country, with Agaton estimated to be 120 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Local government units continue to provide assistance to evacuees in affected areas.
