PAGASA raises red rain warning over Leyte, Samar, Biliran

PAGASA raised a red rainfall warning on Sunday morning for Leyte, Southern Leyte, Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Camotes Island in Cebu, and parts of Central and Northern Cebu due to Tropical Storm Agaton.

Torrential rains measuring more than 30 mm are expected in these areas over the next two hours, leading to serious flooding in low-lying regions and landslides in mountainous areas.

Orange rainfall warnings were issued for Bohol and parts of Cebu, while a yellow warning was raised for Southern Cebu, indicating less severe but still threatening conditions.
