DOH: More Sinovac doses to arrive on July 14

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje announced that more Sinovac doses will arrive on July 14 to continue vaccination efforts in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Cabotaje also mentioned that 1.1 million AstraZeneca doses donated by Japan have been deployed to these areas.

The latest shipment of 2 million AstraZeneca vaccines, which arrived Friday, will mostly be used as second doses for those vaccinated between May and June.

Over 20 million vaccine doses from China, Russia, UK, and US have been processed by the Bureau of Customs since February.

On July 9, the BOC cleared a total of 3.68 million AstraZeneca vaccines donated by Japan, including the latest shipment of 1.124 million doses.
