Filipinos willing to get vaccinated against COVID-19 rises to 45%

Forty-five percent of Filipino adults are now willing to get vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted from June 23 to June 26.

The SWS survey shows a 13 percentage point increase from May's results, with 36% saying they will surely get vaccinated and 9% probably getting it.

Meanwhile, 24% are still uncertain about vaccination, while 21% do not want to receive the vaccine (3% probably won't, 18% surely won't).

A Pulse Asia survey also showed a similar trend with 43% of Filipinos willing to get vaccinated in June, up from 16% in February.

The highest willingness was seen in the National Capital Region at 55%, followed by Mindanao at 48%; Balanced Luzon and Visayas had lower percentages at 38% and 39%, respectively.
