Over 1,100 PGH workers infected with COVID-19

At least 1,100 health workers at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) have been infected with COVID-19 since January 1.

Dr. Jonas del Rosario, PGH's spokesman, said that almost 100 medical frontliners contracted the virus in the past week and most cases are mild.

NTF Against COVID-19 medical adviser Dr. Ted Herbosa noted that nearly 93 health workers resumed work after a shortened quarantine period following their infection or exposure to the virus.
