Vico Sotto tests positive for COVID-19

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto tested positive for COVID-19 on January 15 and is currently in isolation.

Sotto reported symptoms such as sore throat, fever, and body aches but assured constituents he will continue working remotely during his seven-day isolation period.

The mayor emphasized the importance of vigilance against the Omicron variant and urged the public to follow health protocols.

DOH guidelines now allow fully vaccinated individuals who are asymptomatic or have mild cases to quarantine/isolate for shorter periods.
