Metro Manila hospitals suspend new COVID-19 admissions

Several hospitals in Metro Manila have suspended accepting new COVID-19 patients due to full capacity.

Ospital ng Sampaloc reached its maximum capacity of 40 dedicated beds and could no longer accept additional cases as of August 28, with 55% of admitted patients unvaccinated.

The hospital urged the public to adhere to safety protocols and get vaccinated to help curb the pandemic surge.
