Obet exits PAR; fairer weather expected

Tropical Depression Obet exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday afternoon.

Obet is now over the West Philippine Sea, moving westward at 20 kilometers per hour with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h and gustiness up to 55 km/h.

PAGASA lifted all wind signals and gale warnings as Obet is unlikely to directly affect weather conditions in the country.

Fairer weather is expected in most parts of the Philippines, though scattered rains may occur due to localized thunderstorms or an intertropical convergence zone.
