NU women's volleyball beats Adamson, Solomon scores 22 points

Defending champion National University (NU) women's volleyball team secured a three-set victory over Adamson on Wednesday, March 12, maintaining their unbeaten record at 6-0.

Alyssa Solomon led NU with 22 points, including 15 attacks, 4 blocks, and 3 aces, while Lams Lamina contributed 16 excellent sets and 4 points.

Shaira Jardio provided strong defensive support for NU with 16 excellent receptions and 11 excellent digs as the team prepares for their final rematch against University of Santo Tomas on Sunday, March 16.

Despite a season-low performance of 13 points, Shaina Nitura still managed to contribute four blocks but struggled compared to her usual high standards.

NU head coach Sherwin Meneses expressed optimism about his team's potential improvements and showed support for Adamson’s young players who are developing despite facing recruitment challenges.
