National University advances to UAAP Baseball Final 4 with 10-0 win over UST

National University secured an impressive 10-0 victory over the University of Santo Tomas on Sunday, advancing them to the Final 4 of the UAAP Season 86 Baseball tournament and ending their 12-year drought in the postseason.

The Bulldogs' strong defense and offensive surge, highlighted by Amiel De Guzman's no-hit relief effort and Nigel Paule's triple, led them to a commanding win over UST.

With this victory, National University tied De La Salle University at the top of the standings with identical 6-3 records, ahead of Ateneo de Manila University’s 5-4 record.

First-year head coach Romar Landicho praised his team's performance and expressed gratitude for achieving their goal of reaching the Final Four.

The Bulldogs' victory also solidified their place in the tournament as they now face stiff competition from other top teams like DLSU and Ateneo.
