NU Lady Bulldogs extend winning streak to five with 74-52 victory over Adamson

National University's Lady Bulldogs maintained their unbeaten record in the UAAP Season 87 women's basketball tournament with a convincing 74-52 victory over Adamson University on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Despite leading by only six points at halftime, NU dominated the third quarter with a 17-8 run and secured their fifth consecutive win of the season.

Angel Surada led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points, six rebounds, four steals, three assists, and one block, while Princess Fabruada contributed 12 points and Tin Cayabyab added 11 points including two crucial triples in the final quarter.

Victoria Adeshina was Adamson's top scorer with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds but it wasn't enough to prevent their loss.

The Lady Bulldogs are focused on improving their decision-making and minimizing errors ahead of upcoming playoff games, as they face University of the East this Saturday.
