UP men's basketball beats Adamson, improves to 5–0

The University of the Philippines men's basketball team maintained its undefeated record against Adamson University on Saturday, September 28, in the UAAP Season 87 tournament.

UP improved to a perfect 5-0 record with a decisive 69-57 victory over Adamson at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, overcoming a 22-point deficit after Adamson's stunning 26-9 first-quarter run.

Harold Alarcon led UP with 14 points and seven rebounds, while Terrence Fortea contributed 13 points, including all three attempts from beyond the arc, along with five rebounds.

Quentin Millora-Brown recorded a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds, playing a crucial role in the team's comeback victory.

UP coach Goldwin Monteverde credited his team's composure and effective execution during the second half for their success, noting significant contributions from bench players who scored 51 points.
