NU extends unbeaten streak to six games, wins 67-39 over UE

National University extended its unbeaten streak to six games in the UAAP Season 87 women's basketball tournament with a convincing 67-39 victory over the University of the East at Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

The Lady Bulldogs maintained their perfect record and stretched their winning streak against UE to 27 games, limiting them to under 40 points for the first time since November 13, 2022. Every player from NU scored except Gheralyn Ico.

Pringle Fabruada led with 11 points, while Nicole Pring added 10 points and two assists.

UE's Rachel Lacayanga scored a game-high 18 points but it was not enough to prevent the Lady Warriors from suffering another loss as they fell to 1-4 after losing momentum following a significant victory over De La Salle University last week.

In another match, Adamson edged out the University of the Philippines 60-56 for the solo third seed with a 4-2 record. Victoria Adeshina led with 18 points and seven rebounds.
