NU reaches UAAP Baseball Finals, faces DLSU

National University (NU) secured their spot in the UAAP Season 87 Baseball Finals after defeating Adamson University 11-5 in their semifinal match on Tuesday at Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

Kevin Maulit led NU with a standout performance, hitting 3-of-4 and driving in one run, including the key hit that sparked their decisive six-run seventh inning.

Head coach Romar Landicho emphasized the team's motivation to achieve back-to-back championships for the first time in NU baseball history, noting the significance of this goal for the program.

De La Salle University will challenge NU in a best-of-three series starting on Friday at 8 AM, with both teams aiming to secure their place among the league’s elite.

Game 2 is set for Tuesday, May 6 while a potential Game 3 is scheduled for Friday, May 9.
