Northeast Monsoon Brings Rains Over Luzon, Parts of Visayas and Mindanao

PAGASA warns that the Northeast Monsoon will bring rains over Luzon and parts of Visayas and Mindanao.

As of Friday, Typhoon Nyatoh is located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but its trough will cause scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Eastern and Central Visayas, Negros provinces, and southern Palawan with possible flash floods or landslides during heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Northern Quezon including Polillo Islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Moderate to strong winds and rough seas are expected over Luzon, Visayas, and eastern Mindanao; fishing boats and small seacraft are advised not to venture out into the sea.
