Green Spikers beat Soaring Falcons 3-0 in UAAP men's volleyball

The Green Spikers defeated the Soaring Falcons with a score of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-19 in their UAAP Season 87 men's volleyball tournament match at the FilOil EcoOil Centre on Saturday.

Noel Kampton led La Salle to victory with 24 points from 22 attacks, a block, an ace, eight receptions, and seven digs after struggling in their previous loss to National University.

Kampton expressed satisfaction with his performance and acknowledged that he had sleepless nights following the initial defeat but focused on improving for this match.

Uriel Mendoza contributed 13 points and MJ Fortuna added 10 for La Salle, while Eco Adajar had 2 excellent sets with two points from blocks.

Despite committing more errors than Adamson, La Salle dominated in attack points with a score of 54-27, securing their first win of the season.

Adamson's Leo Coguimbal led his team with eight points but the Soaring Falcons remained winless after their second game.

La Salle will face the University of Santo Tomas Golden Spikers next, while Adamson and the University of the East will play for their first wins on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
