NLEX advances to PBA quarters, beats Ginebra 103-99

NLEX secured their quarterfinals slot in the PBA Governors' Cup by defeating Barangay Ginebra 103-99 after overtime on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

DeQuan Jones scored a game-high 44 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, leading NLEX to victory with clutch plays late in the game.

Justin Brownlee led Barangay Ginebra with 26 points and 12 rebounds but was forced out of the game due to a left knee injury during overtime.

Robert Bolick contributed 16 points, seven rebounds, and 11 assists while Tony Semerad added 12 points and six rebounds for NLEX's balanced scoring effort.

Barangay Ginebra dropped to 6-4 with their loss and will face longtime rival Meralco in the best-of-five quarterfinals next week.
