NDRRMC: Two confirmed dead due to Florita

As of Thursday, Aug 25, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported two confirmed deaths due to Severe Tropical Storm Florita, one each from Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), with another death in Bicol still being verified.

Three people were injured by the storm, two in Cagayan Valley and one in Camarines Sur, with an additional injury report in Bicol pending verification.

The storm affected 11,953 families or 47,169 individuals across five regions, with 10,355 people displaced, mostly staying in 129 evacuation centers.
