NDRRMC urges LGUs to prepare for Tropical Depression 'Ambo'

The NDRRMC on Tuesday urged local government units in flood and landslide-prone areas to take precautions as Tropical Depression 'Ambo' approaches.

DSWD has prepared PHP179 million worth of family food packs and PHP780 million worth of other food and non-food items, with all transport logistics assets ready for relief distribution.

As of Tuesday morning, the center of Ambo was located 285 kilometers east northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gustiness up to 70 kph.
