NDRRMC: 180 families evacuated due to Florita

As Tropical Storm Florita continues to affect Northern Luzon, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that around 180 families or 543 individuals have been evacuated from Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Details show 110 families or 391 persons were evacuated in CAR, while 70 families or 152 persons were from Cagayan Valley.

Classes were canceled in 162 cities and municipalities across the affected regions, with work suspended in 60 cities and municipalities primarily in Ilocos Region and Cagayan Valley.

The NDRRMC also recorded three rain-induced landslides in Ilocos Region and Bicol Region, along with two flooding incidents in Ilocos Region.
