NCR's COVID reproduction number down to 0.97

NCR's COVID-19 reproduction number dropped to 0.97 on Friday from 0.99 reported the previous day.

OCTA Research noted a continued decline in cases since NCR was placed under modified enhanced community quarantine and granular lockdowns were implemented.

As of September 23, all 17 LGUs had negative one-week growth rates with 13 having reproduction numbers less than 1.

Navotas recorded the lowest at 0.57 while Cavite (0.87), Laguna (0.90), Bulacan (0.86), Cebu City (0.66) and Davao City (1) also showed improvement.
