NCR's COVID positivity rate drops to 21.2%

Metro Manila's COVID-19 positivity rate dropped to 21.2% in the week ending May 28, down from 25.2% the previous week.

The reproduction number decreased to less than one as of May 26.

Hospital occupancy increased slightly from 28.8% to 29.1%.

While infections declined in Metro Manila, positivity rates surged in several Luzon provinces with Oriental Mindoro seeing a significant increase from 33.3% to 55.6%, Bataan from 21.4% to 38.4%, Tarlac from 15.4% to 21.2%, and Cagayan from 21.6% to 27.6%.

Notable declines were observed in Isabela, Laguna, and Batangas.
