NCR COVID-19 positivity rate hits 24.9%

The National Capital Region (NCR)’s COVID-19 positivity rate reached 24.9% as of May 10, according to OCTA Research.

This is an increase from the previous week's rate of 20.4%. The nationwide positivity rate stands at 23.1%.

OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David expects NCR’s positivity rate to peak within one or two weeks and could potentially miss reaching 25%.

As of May 11, the hospital bed occupancy in NCR is at 28.3%, up from 25.5% on May 3.
