Navy sends more teams to aid Typhoon Ulysses victims

The Philippine Navy is deploying additional rescue teams to Cagayan and other affected areas hit by Typhoon Ulysses.

Two WASAR-trained teams from San Fernando City, La Union will be equipped with rubber boats and life-saving equipment for deployment upon availability of air assets.

Personnel from Naval Forces Northern Luzon and Marine Battalion Landing Team-10 are also being sent to augment rescue efforts in Cagayan.

DRRTs have been deployed to Rizal and Camarines Sur, coordinating with local incident command centers and using amphibious assault vehicles for rescue operations.
