Navy ship BRP Tarlac delivers relief goods to Catanduanes

The Philippine Navy's landing dock BRP Tarlac (LD-601) arrived in San Andres, Catanduanes on Thursday to unload 240 tons of relief goods and construction materials.

The ship departed Manila South Harbor on November 17 with cargo donated by government agencies, NGOs, and private individuals.

BRP Tarlac is considered a 'critical asset' for civil-military operations due to its capacity to transport personnel and supplies.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana witnessed the send-off ceremony at Pier 15 in Manila on November 17.
