PAF aids typhoon-hit regions with rescue missions

PAF personnel are working diligently to deliver aid and rescue residents affected by Typhoon Ulysses in Cagayan Valley.

On Sunday, PAF spokesperson Lt. Col. Aristides Galang reported that WASAR teams were deployed from the 505th Search and Rescue Group using two Bell 412 helicopters for rescue missions and rapid damage assessment.

The staging area was set up in Tuguegarao City, prioritizing aid to the most affected areas of Cagayan Valley.

Earlier on Friday, PAF units initiated 'Tulong Bayanihan 2' to provide immediate assistance to communities devastated by Ulysses in Central and Southern Luzon and NCR.
