Alinsug, Jardio named co-Finals MVPs for National University

Vange Alinsug and Shaira Jardio were named co-Finals Most Valuable Players for their outstanding performances as the National University Lady Bulldogs clinched back-to-back titles in the UAAP women's volleyball tournament.

Alinsug, an outside spiker, scored 21 points in Game 1 and added 9 more in Game 2, while Jardio, a libero, recorded 18 digs and 28 receptions in the opener and continued with 21 digs and 12 receptions in Game 2.

Despite the impending departures of key players such as Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon, Alinsug expressed her readiness to take on leadership roles for the upcoming season.

Coach Sherwin Meneses highlighted that the team's future is secure with these capable talents stepping up, while Belen affirmed her belief in Alinsug and Jardio’s ability to lead the Lady Bulldogs into another championship run next year.

Alinsug stated confidently that she is prepared to take on the responsibility of leading NU next season following the departure of senior players.
