National U men's volleyball game sets new attendance record

Game 3 of the UAAP Season 87 men's volleyball Finals between National University and Far Eastern University set a new attendance record with 14,517 spectators at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

This marked a significant increase from previous games, which had fewer attendees, and has become the most-watched event in UAAP men's volleyball history.

National University head coach Dante Alinsunurin expressed his joy over the growing popularity of men's volleyball, turning emotional as he reflected on past struggles and current success.

Alinsunurin emphasized the importance of continued support for the sport to maintain its momentum and inspire players and coaches.

With National University cementing its legacy with seven titles overall, the team looks forward to the upcoming FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship in September.
