NAIA expects over 1 million travelers during Holy Week

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) expects over 1.18 million travelers during Holy Week this year, marking a 14.23 percent increase from last year.

Flight movements are projected to rise from 6,537 in 2024 to 6,724 this year, with the busiest day expected on Good Friday, April 18, when 851 flights will operate.

To avoid delays, NNIC advises passengers to arrive at least three hours before international flights and two hours before domestic ones, and to double-check their flight details and terminal assignments.

Philippine Airlines recommends online check-in, leaving home early due to expected heavy traffic, staying within free baggage allowances, and ensuring valid travel documents for both domestic and international trips.

Assistance desks will operate 24/7 in all terminals, staffed by airport personnel, medical teams, and uniformed officers, with additional measures like improved Wi-Fi connectivity and traffic management to enhance passenger experience.
