PAGASA warns of heavy rains, lightning over Metro Manila

PAGASA issued a thunderstorm advisory on Monday night warning of heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds over Metro Manila and neighboring areas for the next two hours.

The weather bureau also reported intense rainshowers with similar conditions in Bulacan, Zambales, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, and Bataan, which could persist and affect nearby regions.

On Friday evening, PAGASA advised residents of Metro Manila, Bataan, Pampanga, and Zambales to expect moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds that could last for a couple of hours, including areas in Laguna province.
