PAGASA forecasts rains, thunderstorms over northern Luzon

PAGASA forecasts scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Batanes, Isabela, Cagayan, and the Babuyan Group of Islands due to a low-pressure area (LPA) trough.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by the southwest monsoon.

Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms in affected areas.
