Hero's parade for Yulo and Philippine Olympians on Wednesday

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) has announced that a hero's parade will be held on Wednesday to welcome home Carlos Yulo and other members of the Philippine Olympic delegation.

Yulo, who won two gold medals at the Paris Olympics, along with bronze medalists Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas, will participate in the 7.7-kilometer motorcade starting from Aliw Theater in Pasay City and ending at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

The parade is set to start at 3 p.m., featuring a specially designed float for the Olympians, with traffic management measures including a 'stop-and-go scheme' at intersections.

Motorists are advised of alternate routes during the event, which could last up to an hour, and MMDA will deploy 300 personnel to manage traffic flow.

Upon their arrival in Manila on Tuesday, the Olympic team met President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at Malacañang Palace before participating in the heroes' welcome ceremony.
