NCR mayors ban outdoor exercise during ECQ

Metro Manila mayors have banned outdoor exercises such as jogging and biking during the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) to curb the spread of the Delta variant.

MMDA chair Benhur Abalos appealed for residents' understanding, citing high healthcare utilization rates in NCR and the need to make ECQ effective.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque urged Metro Manila residents to stay home during the 10-day ban on outdoor exercises.
