Minors vaccinated against COVID in multiple Philippine cities

Minors aged 12 to 17 years old without comorbidities began receiving their first dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines in various locations across the Philippines on Wednesday.

In Bataan, minors lined up at Lou-is Resort and Bataan People’s Center with parents required to accompany them and present identification documents.

Manila is considering expanding vaccination efforts for minors to malls on weekends after rolling out vaccinations in district hospitals this week.

Iloilo City reported no adverse effects among the 3,537 minor vaccinees who received their first dose on Tuesday.

Butuan City started vaccinating minors without comorbidities at SM City and Robinsons Place with mobile teams also visiting barangays.

Taguig City began its vaccination program for minors aged 12 to 17 years old, excluding those with comorbidities, at designated mega hubs.
