Duterte approves stricter GCQ for NCR and four provinces

President Duterte approved stricter quarantine rules for Metro Manila and four provinces due to the Delta variant threat.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Davao de Oro, and Davao del Norte will be under GCQ with heightened restrictions from July 23 to 31.

Under these restrictions, only essential travel is allowed, business establishments have reduced seating capacities, and minors aged 5-17 are not permitted to go outside.
