Manila prepares for possible Delta variant lockdown

Manila is preparing for a possible lockdown due to the increasing number of Delta variant cases.

Mayor Isko Moreno has ordered local disaster and police departments to be on alert for granular lockdowns.

Moreno also coordinated with hospital directors to ensure readiness for another surge in COVID-19 cases, expressing concern over patients dying due to lack of hospital space.
