Philippine airlines may reduce, cancel flights during Metro Manila ECQ

Metro Manila will enter an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) from Aug 6 to Aug 20.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) said that while international and domestic flights to and from Manila will continue, there may be reductions or cancellations due to travel restrictions.

Only authorized persons outside residences (APOR) will be allowed for domestic travel during this period.

Cebu Pacific announced it would operate scheduled flights until Aug 5 but only for essential travel starting July 30.

Passengers with non-essential travel plans may cancel their tickets up to two hours before departure and rebook or use the ticket value in a travel fund.
