Megaworld upgrades Yulo's reward to PHP3M cash, condo unit

Listed property developer Megaworld Corp. has upgraded its reward for Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo following his two gold medal wins at the Paris Olympics.

Yulo will now receive a three-bedroom condominium unit in McKinley Hill, Taguig City, and a PHP3-million cash bonus, marking a significant milestone during both Megaworld's 35th anniversary and the Philippines' centennial participation in the Olympics.

Megaworld president Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso emphasized that Yulo deserves recognition for elevating Filipino excellence.

In addition to Megaworld's rewards, other entities such as the government and private companies have also announced incentives for Yulo, including a PHP10 million reward from Republic Act 10699 and at least P6 million from the House of Representatives.

The Philippine Olympic Committee will also award Yulo with a house and lot in recognition of his achievements.
