Carlos Yulo finishes 12th in men's gymnastics all-around, eyes medals in floor and vault finals

Carlos Yulo of Team Philippines competed in the individual all-around final of men's artistic gymnastics at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday, July 31.

Yulo finished 12th overall with a total score of 83.032 after an early stumble on the pommel horse and strong performances in vault (14.766), parallel bars (14.500), and floor exercise (14.333).

Despite not securing a podium finish, Yulo remains optimistic about his upcoming events, particularly the floor exercise final on Saturday, August 3.

In qualification for the floor exercise final, Yulo secured second place with 14.766 points, placing him among the top eight competitors including Jake Jarman of Great Britain who leads with 14.966 points.

Yulo continues to aim for a medal in both the floor exercise and vault finals on August 3 and August 4 respectively.
