Malacañang satisfied with Phivolcs' Taal response

President Rodrigo Duterte is satisfied with Phivolcs' response regarding Taal Volcano's activity.

Panelo defended Phivolcs against calls for a probe into the agency’s alleged failure to warn the public about the imminent eruption, stating that predicting volcanic eruptions is difficult.

Despite this, Panelo acknowledged that Phivolcs was able to monitor and raise alert levels based on seismic activities.
