Lucero helps Magnolia beat NorthPort 105-94

Zavier Lucero helped the Magnolia Hotshots defeat NorthPort with a score of 105-94 on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Lucero contributed 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 blocks to his former team's downfall, while Glenn Robinson III led Magnolia with 25 points, 11 rebounds, four steals, and three assists.

Paul Lee added 20 points and 11 assists for Magnolia as the Hotshots won their second consecutive game, improving their record to 3-2 in Group A of the PBA Governors' Cup.

NorthPort fell to fourth place at 2-3 despite Cade Flores scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Arvin Tolentino had 11 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists in a losing effort.

Lucero's performance was particularly notable given the emotional nature of facing his former team NorthPort for the first time since the trade.
