TNT beats Magnolia 88-82 despite injury concerns

Despite injury concerns, TNT Tropang Giga secured an 88-82 victory over Magnolia Hotshots in the PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday night to take the top spot in Group A.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Tropang Giga with a standout performance of 32 points, 19 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals, including crucial baskets late in the game.

Magnolia fought back from a nine-point deficit entering the fourth quarter but couldn't maintain their lead as TNT pulled away late in the game with a decisive run.

With just over three minutes left, Magnolia took a brief 80-78 lead before Hollis-Jefferson's critical three-pointer and subsequent defensive play helped seal the win for TNT.

The Tropang Giga improved to a 3-1 record while Magnolia fell to 1-2 in the tournament.
