Ahanmisi scores 24 with 4 four-pointers as Magnolia beats TerraFirma

Jerrick Ahanmisi scored a career-high 24 points with four successful four-point shots, leading Magnolia to a decisive 124-103 victory over TerraFirma in the 68th PBA season's Governors' Cup on Sunday.

Ahanmisi shot an impressive 58.3 percent from the field and contributed two assists and two steals, while Glenn Robinson III added 20 points and 13 rebounds to Magnolia's dominant performance.

The win improved Magnolia's record to 2-2 in Group A of the tournament; coach Chito Victolero praised his team for their strong start and overall defensive effort despite a relaxed second half.

Stanley Pringle and Christian Standhardinger scored 23 and 22 points respectively for TerraFirma but were unable to prevent Magnolia from maintaining a consistent lead throughout all four quarters, with the Hotshots looking to stay in command of Group A on Wednesday when they face Northport Batang Pier.

Ahanmisi attributed his success to daily practice routines and support from teammates, while Victolero highlighted the player's dedication and hard work both in and out of training sessions.
