Dindo exits PAR with no direct impact

Severe tropical storm Dindo exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday morning with no direct impact on the country.

As of 10 a.m., it was located 555 kilometers north northeast of Basco, Batanes and moving northwest towards eastern China at 15 kph.

PAGASA warned that occasional monsoon rains will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

A low pressure area east southeast of Davao City may bring scattered rains to Caraga and Davao region but is unlikely to develop into a tropical depression in the next 48 hours.

Sea travel is risky over northern and western seaboards of Northern Luzon and the western seaboards of Central Luzon due to rough seas.
