LPA, southwest monsoon bring heavy rains in PH

The Philippines will experience widespread rains due to a low-pressure area (LPA) and southwest monsoon on Thursday.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa are expected to have heavy monsoon rains throughout the day with potential flash floods or landslides.

Bicol, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Aurora, and Quezon will see cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Mindanao is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
