PAGASA raises Signal No. 1 over parts of Luzon due to TD Ferdie

Tropical Depression Ferdie prompted PAGASA to raise Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over parts of Luzon on Sunday night.

Signal No. 1 was raised in the western portions of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and western Pangasinan.

Ferdie is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday.

The Southwest Monsoon continues to affect Luzon, bringing rains over the Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, and occasional rains in Batanes, Cagayan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Central Luzon.
