Leo Aringo named Finals MVP in NU’s championship win

Leo Aringo played a crucial role in National University's fifth consecutive championship win in the UAAP men's volleyball tournament on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Aringo contributed nine points, including seven attacks and two aces, along with 10 receptions and four digs in the Bulldogs' decisive victory over Far Eastern University.

The player from Davao City was named Finals MVP for his performance during the championship match and is now set to pursue international opportunities after gaining attention on the global stage.

Reflecting on NU's dominance, Aringo expressed pride in witnessing and contributing to the team's hard work and success since joining the university.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin noted that while Aringo still has another playing year left at National University, he may take up international offers which could be beneficial for his career.
