Robredo endorses Abalos, Pacquiao despite expectations

Former Vice President Leni Robredo endorsed senatorial candidates Benhur Abalos and Manny Pacquiao, both part of Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s administration.

Despite being expected to support local candidates in her home province of CamSur, Robredo made this endorsement during a time when such an expectation was high.

Robredo maintained good rapport with her former regional campaign manager Bong Rodriguez and the incumbent Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion.

However, she refrained from formally endorsing them.
